Gottman
Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Mind/Body Therapy is an integrative approach to healing that recognizes the deep connection between our physical bodies and our emotional and mental states. This therapeutic modality emphasizes the idea that trauma, stress, and emotional pain are not only stored in the mind but also in the body. By tapping into the body's sensations, movements, and responses, Somatic Therapy helps individuals release stored emotions, heal from past trauma, and achieve greater emotional regulation and well-being.

This method is used in couples therapy with the focus being on building trust, enhancing intimacy, and developing better communication. We work together to identify and address patterns of negative communication and behaviors contributing to challenges in the relationship. The Gottman Method is used for a variety of relationship challenges, including conflict related to sex and intimacy, parenting and family dynamics, and communication challenges.
